NOTD: Orly Gumdrop & Nail Tape

This is a quick NOTD blog post. I used two coats of Orly Gumdrop and silver nail tape to create this manicure.

Didn't really do a fantastic job with painting as I was in a bit of a rush. The nail tape does not last any longer than a day, even though I layered on 2-3 top coats (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri). I do however love how it looks and will recreate this look some day.

  1. This is lovely, I am a sucker for blues! I have never tried nail tape, I will have to see if I can find some on eBay :)

    1. So am I! I love this almost-tiffany-blue colour! Nail tapes don't last on my nails :( If you find a way to make them last longer, please share!

  2. That looks gorgeous, loving the taped look! I'd love to get some of that - once the ban is over of course! A shame it doesn't last long though :( Maybe Seche Vite on top?

    1. 10 tapes only costed me $1.63! BARGAIN!

I threw my Seche Vite away because it was too gloopy to save with nail polish thinner... It was so gloopy, when you tilt the bottle, the polish hardly moved!

    1. I purchased both from eBay. The nail tape was from this eBay listing (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230726799203?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
