1. MAC cremesheen lipstick in Shy Girl
I got this lipstick from an Australian seller on eBay. I paid AUD$19.95 for it including delivery, which is not a bad price. I have closely examined the lipstick and as far as I know this is the real deal! YAY! Unfortunately, the lipstick has a few bumps that looks like the lipstick got really hot whilst waiting to be owned by me (I have that kind of effect on people/things). I have inquired about this to the seller and am now waiting for a response.
And if you're wondering about the seller's credibility, I trust this seller because her communication skills is fantastic! She had accidentally mispelt the name of my street, and I was quite worried that the postman wouldn't give me my lippie and send it back her way. So I sent her a message, and she replied back promptly (within an hour or two) saying that she'll take full responsibility, and she'll call up my local post office to see if they can do anything about it. Anyway, I got it with no problems at all, and would definitely repurchase.
Anyway, back to the lipstick... Because I'm waiting for the seller's response in regards to my sweaty shy lipstick (hahaha... I made a funny.. get it? Shy Girl.. shy lipstick?), I don't have swatches for you. BUT! MAC cosmetics have summed up the colour quite nicely (from looking at swatches on google) through their description of "Creamy neutral coral beige".
2. Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in #6 Grapefruit Jelly
Yes, I'm one of those people who get suckered in by cute packaging. Damn those cosmetics companies, they know my weakness *gets all paranoid and checks room for hidden cameras*. I paid USD$7.98 for this friggin gorgeous blush. The little white pad thing with the pink bow is sooo soft, I don't think I'll ever use it because it's so cute... (yes, I'm also one of those people who doesn't like to ruin cute things, and always saves the best for last). Fortunately for you curious people out there, who have a slight (or maybe more) interest in this blush, I am not in my normal cbf-mood and have swatched it on my arm!
I did a very, VERY heavy swatch on my arm. I quite like that it's buildable because I get quite clumsy sometimes and really hit the pan with my blush brush, and end up getting a whole heap of blush on my face (I don't realise until I end up looking like a clown).
Aaaaand that's it for hauls. Now for the most exciting bit EVER... What Jenny got me!
So it all started when Jenny came to me and asked if I wanted to do a Christmas blog swap with her. I was so honoured, I obviously said yes. I am sooo glad that she asked me to swap with her. She's an amazing blogger, and I love EVERYTHING she sent me.
