What my sister brought me from Singapore

Before I get started on what my sister brought me from Singapore, I just wanted to say that I'm going to miss my postman! I will be moving houses in the next couple of weeks, and today something happened that made me really appreciate my postman.

I ordered a clarisonic Aria for my brother (which will not be featured in my "what the postman brought me" posts) from the states. It ended up costing him AUD$170.18 including delivery. However, they didn't write the correct address. The address they wrote it actually the house across the road from us. They did write my name correctly, and I'm so so thankful that the postman realized that the address was wrong and remembered where I lived! Dad actually answered the door as I was still in bed half awake. When I found out what had happened (the postman was long gone), I asked dad 'how did he know where to send the package?', and dad said "he remembers your name." LOL So the moral of the story is "It's good to buy a crap load of things online, so that your postman knows who you are". Thank you Mr. Postman!!!

Anyway, back to what my sister brought me... She's come to visit my nephew and the family for just a short 5 days. She arrived on Sunday and will be flying out Friday. I gave her a (short) shopping list, as she gets a discount at duty free, and this is what she brought back...

Out of the four things she brought back for me, only two were on the list... I love my sister :D

I had a Chanel Vitalumiere (shade 20 Beige) OR a Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for face & body on the list. I've been wanting the Estee Lauder foundation for about a year now but I don't think it's in Singapore yet. I haven't tried the Chanel Vitalumiere yet as I'm currently using the Chanel CC cream and will have a review on it up soon. I paid her SGD$50 (~AUD$38.75) for this.

Benefit ring my bella fragrance is the second thing on my list that she got me. She gave me a sample a while ago, and I really liked it. It's a sweet fruity/floral scent, which is my favourite type of scent! I paid her SGD$45 (~AUD$34.88) for this.

The third item is the Body Shop Cranberry hand cream. I got the body butter from a blog swap with Kay a few months ago (read here), and it smells amazing! So I'm happy she surprised me with this hand cream.

The fourth item, a Coach wristlet! The picture is not true to colour, it's actually more of a jade greenish-blue. It's the perfect size to fit a few cards, some notes and my iPhone!

That's all I got from Singapore. I can't wait till I go to Singapore in May for my granddad's 90th! I may will most likely come back with a suitcase full of crap I don't need stuff.

The chanel CC cream review will be up soon, I'm just going to use it a few more times so I can make up my mind on whether I like it or not. The Vitalumiere Aqua one wont be up for a while, as I really want to finish at least a bottle of foundation first before opening a new one.
