What the postman brought me this week

I have decided not to include everything the postman brought me this week, as there are some PR samples that have been sent to me, that I would like to keep as a surprise. However, I also want to add that there may be a few items in this post that are part of swaps that I'm participating in at the moment. Therefore, I will not be posting prices I paid in this post.

If you have been following my blog and reading my "what the postman brought me this week" posts, you'll know that I've been REALLY into indie polishes lately. Expect more indie polishes to appear in these posts because I'm expecting some more in the mail next week! The colours that I purchased from left to right, top to bottom are Book Smart Beauty, Goody Gum Drops, Eggnog Wasted, Glitteriest Of Them All, Plum & Plummer.

2. Tarte Cosmetics
Bought these Tarte cosmetics using PriceUSA as a mail forwarder. I'm still can't decide whether or not I prefer PriceUSA or HopShopGo. Both companies have their pros and cons. The pros of PriceUSA is their shipping costs is cheaper than HopShopGo, no hidden fees and great communication from the PriceUSA customer service team. However, if you're purchasing items from Sephora, you can't accumulate points because PriceUSA only offer assisted shopping (which may be considered as a pro as well). I also do not like how the exchange rate they "charge" is 3 cents below what is on xe.com. I have a credit card that charges the same rate (or really close to) as xe.com, and so that is another con for me.

Anyway, I purchased the Achiote Color Collection, which contains Maracuja divine shine lip gloss, LipSurgence lip luster, and Amazonian clay 12-hour blush all in the shade achiote.

I probably shouldn't have put all these products together to take a picture... Anyway, hopefully this won't be too confusing trying to tell you what all these products are.

From left to right, top to bottom: Pure Maracuja Oil, Tarte Amazonian-clay 12-hour blush in peaceful, Tarte emphsEYES waterproof Amazonian clay cream eyeshadow in shimmering taupe, 24/7 natural lip sheer in Summer Fling, Double dose berry boost and gloss in go go goji, Tarte LipSurgence in sweet, blush brush, eyeshadow brush, lights camera lashes mascara, and maracuja creaseless concealer in tan.

3. Uandi
I won a giveaway by The Beauty & Lifestyle Hunter and this Uandi Facial Moisturizer was the prize! I have yet to try this, as I am currently testing out some PR samples that have been sent to me this week, so I can review them soon!

I also received my BellaBox in the mail this week, and have already done a first impressions here.

Did you get anything interesting in the mail this week?

  10. I love those nail polishes! Especially Goody Gum Drop.
I'd love to try out some Tarte products too, especially some blushes. I'm too scared to try using a mail forwarder though.

    1. I think as long as you do some research on reliable mail forwarders, it's safe. I'm using HopShopGo, and although they're quite pricey, i like how I'm able to pay via paypal.
