Haul: Sephora

I finally received my ginormous Sephora haul, and I've now got enough cosmetics to open my own shop... I used a parcel forwarder to make this order, and I also did a Bath & Body Works order to take advantage of consolidated shipping costs. The Bath & Body Works order will appear in another posts, as I have a feeling this post will be quite long.

I forgot to include a Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara Collection box in this picture. But otherwise, this shows everything I purchased from Sephora... I think I need to go on a spending ban. :-\

1. Tarte Awaken Your Complexion Kit in Light-Medium - USD$32
This kit comes with Pure Maracuja Oil (6.8ml/0.23oz), Bamboo Concealer Brush, Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Light/Medium (8.3ml/0.28oz), Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder (2g/0.07oz), Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment - not pictured (2ml/0.07oz). I do have a couple of bottles of this Pure Maracuja Oil, so I think this will go in a box for my next giveaway.

2. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Honey - USD$22.50
I have a few of the mini ones that I got from the Sephora birthday promotion thing last year, and I absolutely loved them! So I decided to get the full size version in the shade Honey, which is quite a nude shade.

3. Benefit Go Tropical Lip & Cheek Kit - USD$28
This kit contains Cha Cha Tint (3.8ml/0.13oz), High Beam (3.8ml/0.13oz), Coralista powder (2.8g/0.1oz), Mini powder brush, Coralista Lip Gloss (6.5ml/0.22oz). Seriously contemplating putting this in the giveaway box. The only thing stopping me is the heaviness of this box, which means postage will be a killer!

4. YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in 4 (Succulent Pomegranate) & 9 (Cool Guava) - USD$30 each
I'm so so so impressed with these! Packaging looks so gorgeous, and I've only used #4, and it's surprisingly pigmented considering it's meant to be a balm. Having said that, I don't think #9 will be very pigmented because it's such a light pink.

5. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful - USD$25
I think it'd be impossible for me to make a Sephora order without adding a Tarte blush of some sort in my cart. I LOVE tarte blushes, and I can't wait to use this one.

6. Benefit Fine One One - USD$30
I've wanted this ever since I received the Benefit newsletter email announcing the release of this new three-in-one lip-and-cheek illuminator. I used it this morning and when first applied, it was quite pigmented, but then it sort of became less red and looked more natural. I had to top it up with a bit of Tarte blush, as the colour was a bit too faint for my liking. Will do a more detailed review after I've used it for at least a week.

7. Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Baby Doll and Bare Naked - USD$24 each
T-B: Bare Naked; Baby Doll
I raved about the Laura Mercier Baby Doll in my current lip product favourites (read here), so I won't repeat the amazingness of this lipgloss. I also decided to pick up another one, as I didn't think (still don't) I will be making another Sephora order in a VERY long time.

8. Make Up For Ever Full Cover Extreme Camouflage Cream in #6 - USD$32

I also used this today and ermahgerd! HG alert! This will be appearing in my current concealer (and foundation) favourites!

9. NARS Wicked Attraction Set - USD$49
This set contains a Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base (1.5ml/0.05oz), Single Eyeshadow in Fathom (2g/0.07oz), Blush in Orgasm (2.3g/0.08oz), Bronzing Powder (2.3g/0.08oz), and Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Spring Break (3.3ml/0.11oz).

10. LORAC Close Up: Real Life to Red Carpet Natural to Dramatic Face Tutorial - USD$39
This comes with a tutorial look book, Multiplex 3D lashes mascara in Black (12.2g/0.43oz), Couture shine liquid lipstick in Trend Setter (12.7ml/0.17oz), Front of the line pro in Black (0.6g/0.02oz), Blush in Soul (3.4g/0.12oz), and Starry-eyed baked eyeshadow trio in LORACstar (4.3g/0.15oz).

11. Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara Collection - USD$34
This comes with a Hypnose Sar Mascara in Noir Midnight (6.5ml/0.22oz), Cils Booster XL Mascara Base (2.0ml/0.07oz), Artliner in noir (1.4ml/0.04oz), and Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover (50ml/1.7oz).

12. Samples

I also received a variety of samples with my order - YSL Touche Eclat, Anthony Shave Cream, Tarte BB cream + finishing powder (I had to redeem 100 sephora points for this one).

That's it for my Sephora haul! Stay tuned for my Bath & Body Works haul, which will be coming soon!

  6. Nobody does hauling like you do Abigail! I remember seeing those fresh sugar lip balms when I was at Singapore Sephora but hesitated to pick one up because of the price and hadn't heard about them. Definitely regretting it now!

  8. Insane haul! I just received my hypnose star pack in the mail too. I ordered mine through tarazz because I was just getting a couple of things from sephora.

How do you get around the U.S. credit card only issue when ordering directly from sephora?

    1. Thanks Sophie! Tarazz is such a ripoff!

I used an Australian credit card, and used the freight forwarder address as the billing address.

All those sets look so great. The YSL lipsticks look gorgeous and I really want to try a Tarte Blush.

That MUFE concealer looks quite light, perhaps it might match me ;) Can't wait for a review!

    1. Thanks Sheri! GET A TARTE BLUSH!! :D

I thought the MUFE concealer looked really light in the tube, but when I applied it, it was perfect for my NC20-25 skin :)

  15. What an awesome haul! It is so easy for me to go crazy in Sephora!
Which parcel forwarding company do you use? I found the one that I used last year to be quite expensive so would love to find a more affordable one to make shopping a bit easier on the wallet. Also, with Bath & Body Works, do they accept foreign credit cards or are they like Sephora and don't accept anything but US?

    1. Thanks Billi! The parcel forwarding company I use is HopShopGo. They are quite expensive, but I think once you factor in the savings (compared to what you might pay in Australia, or even the LE stuff that goes for crazy prices on eBay), it's worth it. Plus I like how theres no account monthly (or one-time) fees, I get to collect Sephora points, and that they're trust-worthy since they're part of the paypal group.

I use my australian credit card, and use the parcel forwarding company's address as the billing address, and it has worked. I've made about 3-4 orders already.

  16. Holy crap!!! This is an amazing haul! I'm so jealous! This is what mine is going to look like at the end of my spending ban hahaha.. I definitely plan on crossing that very dangerous line into buying through a parcel forwarder! (I think spenders like us need to be banned hahaha!)
Ohhh I can't wait :D you've given me a few things to add to my wishlist!

  20. Awesome haul! You got so many items from sephora. I wish they would accept non-US creditcard or non-US paypal, that would be super awesome!
