Anyway, this is a VERY long overdue "what the postman brought me" post. I'm contemplating dividing this post into two parts because it might be quite long. Will see how we go. Starting of with nail polishes (I'm a NP addict if you don't know that already)...
1. Femme Fatale Cosmetics
I actually made two orders - one when Rainbow Honey was launched on Femme Fatale, and the second time was when Femme Fatale had a 15% easter discount special... I could not resist :P
L-R: Be Mine; Sakura Matsuri; Hanami; XOXO
L-R: Edge of the Cosmos; Twilight Meteorite; Scorchling; A Tisket, A Tasket
Femme Fatale generously included two complimentary mini 5ml nail polishes in my parcel - Incendius and Noble Garden.
L-R: Fairy Dust; White Cap; Oxygen; Go Go Pink ;Pink Plumeria
3. Lush Lacquer
L-R: Neon Lights, Peace Luv Polish; I Love My Marbles; Clowning Around
I purchased 7 mini polishes from Lush Lacquer when they had a 10% discount for USD$29.92 + $9.75 shipping. I really like purchasing minis because I get to try out more polishes for the about the same price, and I've never completely emptied a nail polish bottle anyway.
As mentioned above, I've used Clowning Around over China Glaze Go Go Girl and I absolutely love this combo! It's still on my nails 3 days later... SHOCKING! I change the colours on my nails like I change undies lol Another thing I love about Clowning Around is that you don't really need to "fish" for the bigger glitters, like you may in other polishes. The neon glitters are really thin as well, so I didn't need 127926381 layers of top coat to make my nails feel smooth.
I've also used I lost my marbles on my toes and it's gorgeous!
L-R: Chubby Bubby; Lovey Dovey; Blue Gypsy
4. Harlow & Co.
L-R: Pastel Pink; Utopia; Nude Beige
L-R: Northern Lights; Southern Lights; Wicked Polish Frost Bite
I've also uploaded a picture of a glitter gradient mani with Southern Lights and Utopia on Instagram. It's my first attempt at it and I'm really pleased at how gorgeous it turned out. If you'd like a tutorial on how to achieve this, let me know in the comments below!
I have to say though that I'm not completely happy with the two Models Own nail polishes that I used. Both were a tat too gloopy for my liking, and I had to add about 3 drops of nail thinner to solve the problem. I think I added a few more for Southern Lights.
L-R: Gelish Take Action; ibd Brush-On Gel Resin
As soon as I received Take Action, I obviously HAD to remove my old gelish manicure and do a mani with it...

Going back to silk wrapping nails, I had to purchase my silk wraps from a different ebay seller because the one that I got the glue and gelish from didn't have the silk wraps that I wanted.
I decided on the Supernail swiss silk wraps after reading a few tutorials, where they were using this exact brand. I've used it once and my gelish didn't sit too well on top of the silk wrap, so I'll probably save it for when I take a short break from gel polishes.
I won this polish! Please excuse the handle, as I realised it wasn't closed properly until after I took the picture. I thought it was shut pretty tight prior to the photo taking, but apparently not... Anyway, I've used it once and was really impressed at how opaque one coat of this polish really is. It's so opaque and applied so smoothly, that you could just apply a coat of polish if you were in a rush. It also dried really quickly. I'm not sure how long it lasts before chipping, as I mentioned above that I change my polish like I change my undies.
I think this post is getting a tat too long, so I'm going to stop (rather abruptly) here, and blog about the rest of what the postman brought me in the next post.
