Review: Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Fatal Attraction

Sophie from Femme Fatale Cosmetics has kindly sent me a Femme Fatale polish in Fatal Attraction to swatch and review. If you have been following me for quite a while, you'd know I'm a MASSIVE fan of Femme Fatale, which is an independently-owned Australian indie cosmetics company.

Sophie does not only make the most amazing polishes ever, but she also makes eyeshadows, illuminators and blushes! None of the products that Sophie makes are tested on animals and all products are vegan friendly. If that's not enough awesomeness, she also stocks the top international indie lacquers so that us Aussies can save on shipping and order it from one company. Sophie ships worldwide (except for the lacquers, which are only available nationally). However, if you're after some Femme Fatale lacquers and do not live in Australia, don't despair because you can purchase her lacquers from international stockists, such as Llarowe, Harlow & Co, and Shoppe Eclecticco (for other stockists and more information, please visit Femme Fatale Cosmetics)

Getting on with the review and swatches, Sophie has described Fatal Attraction as a "deep magenta polish with scattered holographic particles in a rich burgundy", which I think is really accurate.

I've had quite a lot of trouble capturing the holographic particles on camera. I took about 17 pictures and had to sift through all of them and choose the best ones. Even then, none of the pictures I took made any justice to how beautiful this polish is.

I applied 3 coats of Fatal Attraction and 2 coats of topcoat.

I had to literally keep telling myself to stop staring at my nails and get off my bum and do something because it was so ridiculously shiny and holographically pretty.

Removal was surprisingly easy compared to other glittery nail polishes. I rested a cotton wool soaked with nail polish remover on my nails, waited about a minute or two and the polish came off so easily with minimal "scrubbing" (I would have waited longer, but I'm not a very patient person).

I highly recommend Femme Fatale lacquers having own quite a number of them. They're all so gorgeous and affordable. A bottle of Femme Fatale polish goes for $9.85 or you can get 10% off if you purchase 5 bottles. Shipping varies from $6.50 to $15 for larger orders, and includes insurance, tracking and signature on delivery.

If you'd like to purchase a bottle of Fatal Attraction, you can do so here. I can assure that you will not regret it!
