June Empties

Ahh! I can't believe we're half way through the year, and I don't think I've accomplished much... yet. The upside is that it's exactly one month till my birthday!!! Time to start writing up a wishlist!

Anyway, onto my June empties!
2x Face of Australia Purifying Cleansing Wipes
I've finished not one, but TWO Face of Australia Cleansing wipes. As I've said in my previous empties post featuring these wipes, I think they're awesome value for money when they are on special at Big W. I'm pretty sure I've picked them up for $1 or 2. They're quite moist and removes my makeup efficiently. A definite repurchase!

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation in BD20
I can't believe I've finished already! I think it's an amazing light-medium coverage foundation that dries so quickly that you could probably get away without setting with a powder (although I always use a setting powder because my skin gets so oily). I haven't really had much problems with this foundation in terms of staying power (and I normally don't have such problems... I'm telling you, setting powder is the way to go). This also does not oxidise on my skin, which is always nice. I have already repurchased this in a darker shade (BD30) but have yet to use it, as I'm trying to finish up my other half-used foundations.

L-R: Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeeep treatment; Moroccanoil; No7 Extreme Length Waterproof
I've raved about the Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeeep treatment before on a previous empties post (here). And I'll probably rave about it again in a "Products That Saved My Life" post, which I'm currently overdue for (I was planning on doing one every Sunday, but I got a tat lazy).

It took me SO long to finish that bottle of Moroccanoil, and by long, I mean about 2 years. I am still not 100% convinced that it does wonders to your hair like everyone raves about. However, I do like that it cuts hair drying time down quite significantly. I probably won't repurchase though, as I've found better hair moisturizing stuff.

Loved the No7 Extreme Length Waterproof, except I bought it in brown instead of black. It's a good mascara that lengthened and volumised my lashes. Would repurchase if I had the chance.

Wet Ones Moist Towelettes

I can't decide which is worse - Wet Ones Moist Towelettes or the towelettes you get from KFC. Actually, I lie. I can decide and Wet Ones is the worst towelettes ever because at least the KFC ones are free. Can't really fault them for giving out such crap towelettes if it's free. I use wet wipes to wipe off any makeup I put on my hand (mostly foundations), as well as to clean my eyelash curler (anyone else do this?). These wipes were so horrible that everytime I wiped the foundation off my hand, it soaks through one side and comes out the other. Absolutely horrible! I always thought that wet wipes are wet wipes, you can't go wrong with wet wipes. I was proven wrong.

Physicians Formula Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder in Creamy Natural
This obviously isn't an empty. But it was a MASSIVE fail and it's going in the bin. It fails so hard that it deserves a separate post, which will be up soon. I do not recommend this at all!

What have you emptied last month?

    1. Don't you just hate it when companies scrimp and save so much that their merchandise turns to crap?

Definitely keep an eye out, especially when they have $3 off the whole Face of Australia range.

  5. I wasn't convinced with the hair oil either - I prefer others over the Moroccan Oil easily.

    1. Ewww!! What was the buyer for Woolies thinking when she/he decided to stock those wet wipes?!

Your mum sounds like my mum. It's all about saving and not wasting despite how crap the product is.
