Yay it's officially Spring, which happens to be one of my favourite seasons :) I've got quite a few empties this month (well, last month), with a fair few being samples.
Lush - I Love Juicy
The Shopping Queen purchased this bottle of shampoo from Lush, as she wanted an orange juice smelling shampoo and thought this was the answer to her prayers. However, when she got home, it wasn't what she wanted (she reckons it smells like the Tree of Life shop if memory serves me right), so she really kindly sent this to me. I thought it smelt insanely like oranges though. My hair felt really squeaky clean after, and by squeaky clean, I mean the feeling you get when you rub your hand against a really clean glass door, and it feels so squeaky clean.... Can anyone relate? :-s
I probably wouldn't repurchase though, as my scalp didn't quite agree with this shampoo, and I think it dried my hair out a little too much.
Bath & Body Works Body Lotion in Bali Mango (travel sized) and Bath & Body Works Shower Gel in Honey Sweetheart
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Facial Cleanser
Clarisonic Brush Head (Sensitive)
Biore Cleansing Makeup Removing Wipes
here and here). I love these makeup remover wipes because they are so moist and so effective in removing stubborn waterproof mascara, without leaving my skin feel disgustingly oily. They are quite costly, but so worth it. I'd definitely repurchase, the next time I'm in Singapore.
A whole heap of samples...
here). I didn't think much of the face powder. It didn't help with shine control. I won't be purchasing the full size of any of the Lush products.
Diorsnow White Reveal Moisturizing UV Protection: The Diorsnow Moisturizing UV Protection has made an appearance in an empties post before (read here). I absolutely love this moisturizer/sunscreen. It doesn't feel too heavy on my skin, it's a 2-in-1, smells really good and it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. Will be repurchasing again (although probably in travel-sized tubes, as it works out to be cheaper).
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair: I have the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrate and in terms of effects, I haven't noticed any difference between the two. The concentrate is thicker and is pale-yellow/golden in colour, whilst the new formula of the Advanced Night Repair is more translucent and thinner in consistency. Both products absorbed really well and quickly into my skin. I probably wouldn't run out and purchase the new formula of this if you already have the old one or the concentrate like I do.
Jurlique Purifying Foaming Cleanser and Clarifying Day Care Lotion: I received these two sachets after telling the sales assistant at Jurlique about my crazy oil problems and my quest to develop a skincare routine that will bring my oil production down enough for me not to have to blot at all. The two sachets lasted me about 3 days, and I didn't find that it helped slow down oil production. Thus, I will not be purchasing the full sized versions of these products.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
here). I had to mix Shell 130 (the lightest colour) with Natural Beige (170) to match my skintone. Unfortunately, it was only enough for one application, and I can't definitely say whether or not this is for me. But it did give a pretty light coverage, and didn't feel too heavy on my skin. It was easy enough to blend out (I used my fingers). However, I don't think this is suited for my skin type. My skin felt a little more oilier than it normally does with other foundations. Therefore, I probably wouldn't purchase the full-sized product.
What have you emptied last month?
