The first thing that I love (but semi-dislike at the same time) is the bottle of this perfume. I love that it's so gorgeous and unique, but it has to be laid on it's side, which takes up a fair bit of room compared to a perfume bottle that stands upright. I wish this perfume came with a stand.
Apparently, this bottle was inspired by a queen's scepter. The jewel shaped bottle and the royal red and gold shades portray sexy sophistication and lawless luxury.
I also love the detailed lid with a crest on the top, and I think it really suits the name of the perfume. The crest is meant to capture Katy Perry's playful essence - regal cats, a music chef, hearts and dagger.
I absolutely love the smell of this perfume, and since I'm absolutely rubbish at describing fragrances, here are the top, middle and base notes:
Top Notes: Wild Berry, Dark Plum & Bergamot
Middle Notes: Red Velvet Flower, Natural Jasmine Sambac & Rainbow Plumeria
Base Notes: Cashmeran, Natural Patchouli Heart & Liquid Praline
It smells really feminine but slightly masculine at the same time. It's not terribly sweet either (baring in mind I LOVE sweet scents, so my definition of sweet may differ from yours).
The only con I have is that it doesn't seem to last on me. It fades about 2-3 hours after I spray it on myself, and then completely fades about an hour after, which is such a shame. Other than that, I think it's such an amazing perfume. I will have to purchase a perfume atomiser so I can respray it during the day. It has definitely become one of my favourite perfumes.
