My faith in corporate companies has been somewhat restored... Part I

Please note that this blog post is another wordy one...

This is in relation to my fairly recent blog post regarding my experiences with a company called Ozsale (read here). If you're too lazy to read that post, I'll briefly summarize what happened that warrant a post expressing my disgust with Ozsale. Ozsale is a website that has sales events that lasts for a few days. Sometimes there are amazing bargains to be had, which is why I've purchased a few things from them. There were two orders in particular that I had troubles with, but Ozsale didn't seem very helpful. One order for Pumpkin Patch was cancelled, which I was fine with, as I only purchased an item so I could take advantage of free shipping. However, the refund was taking FOREVER, especially when I paid for the item using paypal (paypal refunds are instantaneous). The other order was for Essie polishes. I waited for a good month and a half from date of order (see below) before starting to get the shits.

The response I got from Ozsale regarding the two orders were less than satisfactory, which resulted in my rant post.

However, I'm happy to say that my faith in Ozsale has been somewhat restored. Instead of writing messages to me that don't make sense, they called me up to talk about my problems. To cut the story short, they've refunded my money for both the Essie order and the Pumpkin Patch. YAY!!! It only took 7 days to refund my Pumpkin Patch order after notifying me that it's been cancelled... But YAY for refunding me my money for the Essie order on the same day that Ozsale called!

  2. OzSale is soo crap for postage, even if the order goes through okay. It takes sooo long for the stuff to be shipped, you literally need to order a month or two before you need it.. I also hate how they cancel orders due to stock. Sites should update the stock balance automatically!!

  5. I have had a dodgy experience with ozsale before with makeup (basically the make up packaging looked quite old and some of the powder spilled etc) but I have been shopping quite a lot with them recently. I attribute it to late night boredom! Some have been sent out pretty quickly but some I have waited for about 3 weeks already and still nothing. They are quite inconsistent and it's because they are dependent on the partners to send out the stock to their warehouse first. It worries me a little everytime I shop with them and it's never a nice feeling when you pay for something and don't get to have it for ages.
