Review: One Direction - That Moment Eau De Parfum

That Moment is a special edition perfume that was released by One Direction after their successful launch/release of their Our Moment perfume last year. Although I spray on perfume almost everyday, I don't have a large perfume collection. I don't normally care for celebrity fragrances, which is why I was hesitant when I was offered to reviewed That Moment. However, I was intrigued after reading the press release and the fragrance notes, which is a mix of floral and fruity.

Some may say the bottle is a bit tacky, however, I personally love it. You can pretty much guarantee that I will love a product if it's pink and/or sparkly (I just made myself sound like such a bimbo). I love that this bottle is a translucuent pink, as I like knowing how much product I have left. Furthermore, the cap is divine! It also is surprisingly heavy. The silver crown cap with the diamond in the centre makes it look regal, and reminds me of Katy Perry's Killer Queen perfumes - what is with celebrities and regal looking perfume bottles?

As mentioned earlier, the fragrance of That Moment is made up of fruits and flowers, with a hint of musk. The notes are:

Top - Green Apple, Refreshing Cucumber, Sparkling Tangerine
Mid - Delicate Muguet, Peony, Violet
Dry - Patchouli, Creamy Musk, Cedarwood

That Moment reminds me a lot of DKNY Be Delicious, whose notes are Apple, Cucumber, Grapefruit, Magnolia, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose, Violet, White Amber, Blonde Woods, Sandalwood. The notes are quite similar to that of That Moment. As such, if you own Be Delicious, you may want to skip That Moment.

Unfortunately, while I think this smells nice when I first spray it on, it slowly becomes headache inducing. However, this may be due to the fact that I tend to douse myself in perfume in the fear of smelling like a dead corpse. As such, I haven't been able to bring myself to use it as much as I should before posting this review.

Since I honestly have no idea how long a perfume tends to last, as you get used to the scent and you don't notice it much anymore (#firstworldproblems), I'm going to say that the headache stops after about 4 hours and hence, assume that's how long the perfume lasts on me.

That Moment can be purchased from Amcal, Chemmart, Priceline, Malouf, Terry White Chemists and all good pharmacies and perfumeries. That Moment EDP is available in
30ml - RRP $39
50ml - RRP $59
100ml - RRP $79
