Review: Rimmel London Wonder'Full Mascara

I'm sure we all know how amazing Argan Oil is, so much so that it's also been called "liquid gold". Originating from Morocco, it is a fantastic moisturizing and conditioning oil that also has anti-oxidants that help with anti-ageing and aid in healing irritated and damaged skin.
I was intrigued and desperately wanted to try the Rimmel Wonder'Full mascara when I learnt that it contained the magical Argan Oil.
Rimmel promises that the addition of argan oil to its Wonder'Full mascara formula will smooth and condition lashes. I have no doubt that it will do just that, as I've seen how Argan Oil has transformed my chemically damaged, dry hair into sleek, smooth, moisturized locks. As my lashes are in fairly good condition - they are just short and stubby (damn Asian genes!), I can't say that I have noticed that my lashes look extra smooth and conditioned since they are in good condition already.

I was a bit nervous that the Argan Oil will make the formula too oily or take forever to dry and smudge. However, I was pleased to find out that Wonder'Full dried quickly. I had no problems with smudging, and my lashes stayed curled all day.

Wonder'Full is a fantastic lengthening mascara. The bristles on the brush grabs and evenly coats each lash. I'm guessing this is the reason why I had absolutely no problems with clumping. However, I wish it had provided my lashes a bit more volume.

Rimmel London Wonder'Full Mascara retails for $17.95 and is available from Priceline, Target, Kmart, Big W, selected pharmacies and selected Coles and Woolworths. I'm super excited for the waterproof version to be released in December, as I find that they normally work better for me than their non-waterproof siblings.

Have you tried the Rimmel London Wonder'Full mascara? What are your thoughts?

This product was kindly provided for my consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Looks so good on you. I have been hearing about it not getting enough volume, hence I am still indecisive about this. But no clumping, sounds awesome

  2. Thanks Saumya! I like layering my mascaras, as I find that most mascaras are either excellent at lengthening or are super volumizing. So I just pair a lengthening mascara (i.e. this one) with a volumizing one, and bam! Perfect lashes!

  3. I tried this at the last Beauty degustation with Beauty Heaven, the makeup artist applied this on top of my already mascara-ed lashes. I ended up with giant fluffy lashes - a little drag queen like, but that is too be expected with 4 coats of 2 different mascaras. I was amazed that it didn't smudge and was easy to rinse off.

  4. wow i want to try it to my straight lashes maybe something suits them
