Haul: MAC (USA)

MAC Haul
I recently did a US haul with a reader/friend and my sister. You may have already seen some of these pictures on my social media pages (facebook & instagram), but I thought I'd do a blog post, detailing why there's a massive hole in my wallet.

My share of this rather ginormous haul was approximately AUD$400, and I only ordered from MAC and Sephora. I would like to think that I've soothed my cravings for new cosmetics for the next few months, but then again, it is me we're talking about.

I am splitting my US haul over two posts - one for MAC and one for Sephora. Starting with my MAC haul...

L-R: MAC Mineralize Blush in Petal Power; MAC Mineralize Blush in Sweet Sentiment
I purchased two Mineralize blushes in Petal Power and Sweet Sentiment, which is from the Heirloom Mix collection. Blushes are my weaknesses, in case you can't already tell.

T-B: MAC Eye Brows in Lingering, MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom
I also decided to get the Eye Brows pencil in Lingering, as it really suits my brows now that my hair is blonde. I think I need to sell some of my darker eyebrow products. Hmm...
I couldn't say no to another MAC lipstick in Peach Blossom from the Cremesheen range. It is described by MAC as a "frosted cool nude", but it doesn't look too frosted on my lips. It is a gorgeous peachy pink shade.

I also couldn't resist and bought the Look In A Box - All About Nude kit. It contains a Lipstick in Soft Savour, Lipglass in Feeling Fine, Eye Shadow Trio in Cool Campions, and Technakohl Liner in Graphblack.

Lastly, I purchased a Pro Palette Blush X6 insert for USD$2 + tax (cheap ass brew). I should have bought two, but I guess I just NEED to do another haul in the (near) future and get another one for my double sided palette.

That's all I have not managed to talk myself out from purchasing. The damage would have been a lot bigger if I didn't do some serious negotiating with myself. However, I like to think I've saved a bucket load of money by purchasing from the states, as it's so much cheaper than Australian prices even when you include the US taxes and shipping!

  3. Awesome haul - can't wait for your Sephora one! The MAC mineralize blushes are really nice, I have Warm Soul and am thoroughly enjoying it. Peach Blossom looks like such a pretty, everyday shade!

  4. Great haul. The brow pencil is my all time fav pencil. It does dry out quicker than the Anastasia ones, in my opinion, but it is great!
