Yikes! It's been over a week since my last post! Time seemed to have escaped me. I have been meaning to write this review of Dior Diorskin Star Fluid Foundation ("Dior Star") for quite a while now but keep forgetting to take before and after pictures, as I'm always in a rush to put on my face and get ready for work.

Dior Star is a illuminating/brightening foundation that is meant to be weightless and thus comfortable on the skin. I found this to be fantastic in that aspect. It is a medium coverage foundation with a semi-matte finish. I love that it feels really comfortable and lightweight on my skin, like that of a light coverage foundation but with more coverage. It really evens out my skin tone (as you can see in the pictures above), and covers redness and some pimples.
I also love that the foundation is housed in a bottle with a pump, which dispenses an adequate amount of product per application. The bottle is a glass one, which is not so good for those of us who are a bit on the clumsy side (i.e. me), but it does feel a lot more expensive and luxurious.
I use my fingers (as I normally do) to apply the foundation, and it spreads so easily. I have been using it over Benefit's Porefessional, and they both compliment each other.
Similar to most high end foundations, the Dior Star does have a perfume-y type fragrance. I'd describe it as a fresh/floral scent. I really like it but it may not be suitable to those with really sensitive skin. The scent does not linger though.
As you may already know, I do have oily skin, and normally feel the need to blot around lunchtime, which is about 6 hours after application. However, with the Dior Star, I manage to get about 8-9 hours wear before feeling the need to blot.
Overall, I have been really enjoying this foundation and would definitely recommend this to fellow oily skinned girls looking for a lightweight, medium coverage foundation!
