L-R: L'Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau Eau de Toilette; Moisturizing Milk; Shower Milk
It's nearly cherry blossom season in Japan, and I'm so sad to have missed it by a few weeks! Although these L'Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau products do remind me of what I have missed because all of them contain the cherry blossom extracts in the Luberon orchards of France, however, it's nice that I am able to wear the fragrance of cherry blossom and perhaps one day I'll get to see the gorgeous flowers.
L'Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau Eau de Toilette contains the following notes:
Top: Lemon, blackcurrant, watermelon
Middle: Cherry Blossom, cherry, rose, violet
Base: Woody Musk
I absolutely adore fruity/floral fragrances. This is no exception. The addition of the woody musk note helps prevent the perfume from being sickeningly sweet with the other fruity/floral notes.
The moisturizing milk literally melts into your skin without leaving any greasy or sticky residue. Although it is not the most moisturizing product I've used, it does provide adequate hydration for the summer/autumn season. As you would probably expect, this is quite heavily fragranced, similar to that of the perfume mentioned earlier.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much lather I got from the shower milk (with the help of a shower pouf). As you would expect, the shower milk carries the same scent as the EDT and moisturizing milk. Unfortunately, the shower milk did not moisturize my skin enough. As such, I did feel the need to slather on some moisturizer (i.e. moisturizer milk) every morning, and as a result felt like a walking cherry blossom/bowl of fruits and flowers after using all three products together (which is a good thing unless you don't like floral/fruity scents).
Overall, L'Occitane has released another amazing collection, which is absolutely perfect for this Spring season!
