Haul: Sephora

Oops I did it again, and I'm not even sorry! I did some serious damage during Sephora's 15% off sale last month. I didn't use HopShopGo as my parcel forwarder this time around, as they refused to ship a few of the things I wanted to order as they are supposedly "flammable" (items were Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil, in case you were wondering). Thankfully, I have a mate in Canada who was happy to forward my parcel on to me. I was quite surprised at the exchange rate and prices for Canadian buyers, as some items worked out to be slightly cheaper (before tax)! Keep reading after the jump for more details about what I have purchased.

I am running low on face cleansers and toners. After doing some research, I decided to try out the Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser and Balancing Facial Tonic. I've never actually tried anything from Boscia, and I don't really hear much about it. However, the reviews I read on makeupalley has sold me on these two products.

I also redeemed 100 Sephora points for Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. I absolutely love Fresh, and have high hopes for this cleanser.

I have recently finished a travel sized Make Up For Ever Mattifying Primer, and really enjoyed it, hence the full size repurchase.

I also picked up the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops, which is basically an extremely pigmented liquid that you mix with foundations/bb creams/moisturizers etc to obtain higher coverage and/or lighten or darken your chosen base. I have been using this Custom Cover Drops since I got it, and I am in love! A review will probably be done in the coming weeks.

Tarte Best in Faux was added to my shopping cart at the last minute. It was purchased as a backup, as I do enjoy using this duo. The lengthening and volumising power is amazing. However, you have to be so careful with the fibres, as if you get them in your eye, it can be extremely irritating!

With the cold weather, my lips have become dry and flakey. I decided to get the 5 Night Fix for Lips, which contains an exfoliator (the lipstick looking thing) and an Agave Lip Mask. I have only used this once, and I wish the exfoliator was a bit more gritty, but I really love the idea of it being packaged in a form of a lipstick. The agave lip mask was quite hydrating. It is quite thick, and may feel a little uncomfortable on the lips, especially if applied right before bed.

After falling in love with Yves Saint Laurent's Volupte Tint-In-Oil in Shade 4 (I Rose You), I HAD to get another. I decided on Shade 8 (Pink About Me), which is surprisingly quite pigmented for what is supposed to be a lip tint.

Lastly, I purchased the Sephora Favorites Skin Cleanse To Go, which consists of Ole Henriksen grease relief cleansing cloths, REN glycol lactic radiance renewal mask, Glamglow thirstymud hydrating treatment, and First Aid Beauty skin rescue deep cleanser. I thought this would be a brilliant way to trial new products without risking purchasing full sized products only not dislike them.

I also received three samples with my order (one is obviously not pictured - YSL Touche Eclat). The two samples pictured are Guerlain Abeille Royale face treatment oil (I hope I hate this, as this is $98 a pop!) and Smashbox photo finish foundation primer.

That's it for my latest Sephora haul. Have you tried any of these items?
