Empties: June 2015

Oops, I'm a week late with this empties post. Better late than never, right?

I feel like I didn't finish as many products as I normally do. I couldn't decide on a mascara to throw out, and as such my empties post is severely lacking in makeup. It's not like I can't afford to throw out some makeup, it's more like I don't have the heart to. Speaking of makeup (and definitely going off on a tangent), I am looking at detashing some makeup and skincare products (primarily self tanners), so stay tuned for an updated blog sale.

Getting back on track, these are my June empties...

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence
I can't say that this has made a noticeable difference to my hair. I spray a few spritz on damp hair after a shower before heat protectant spray and a hair dry, and I really can't see a difference in the health of my hair. As such, I wouldn't repurchase.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Daily Scrub
I have done a review on this scrub a while ago (read here), and have finally gotten around to finishing this. It's a fantastic scrub that I would recommend to those without sensitive skin, as it may be a touch too abrasive. I love that this has menthol in it, as it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed. I was using a tiny bit of this every morning, and didn't feel like the scrub was too much for daily use. I would consider repurchasing.

Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser
I love that this cleanser is a foaming one, however, feel like I finished this bottle really quickly. I like that this did not dry out my skin and worked really well with my Clarisonic. I also feel like this didn't really help with reducing or calming hormonal acne, but at least it didn't break me out. Frankly, I'm not sure if I would repurchase, as I'd rather a cleanser that is more suited for acne prone skin.

Etude House Nail Remover
I'm not sure how many times I've raved about this nail polish remover because it's seriously HG material. If you haven't tried this, what are you waiting for?!

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover
This eye makeup remover is the bomb diggity! It removes the toughest, most waterproof eye makeup so easily, it's borderline magical. Would definitely repurchase when I run out of eye makeup remover (which may not happen for another 10 or so years. I seriously need to curb my spending).

Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil
I love this face oil. Despite the name, it is not oily at all! It definitely helped hydrate my dehydrated oily skin. I mainly used about three drops of this oil at night, and it is amazing. Would definitely recommend and repurchase. Only con is that it's not readily available in Australia. :(

Natural Look Silver Screen Ice Blonde Conditioner
I cannot believe how long it has taken me to finish this bottle of conditioner. Granted, it's one litre... but still! I've been using this since I went blonde late last year, so it's lasted well over 6 months! I am still trying to use up the shampoo, in case you were wondering. This conditioner is one of the best I've tried to keep brassiness/yellow tones out of bleached blonde hair. The only con is that it's not as nourishing as I wish it were, especially with extremely damaged hair. I had to slather more conditioner or a mask on top of this conditioner to help detangle and moisturize my hair. Would definitely consider repurchasing, purely because of its magical powers to keep the brassiness away.
NKD Scrub Mint
This scrub is amazingly minty smelling, which is great if that's your cup of tea. Luckily for me, I don't mind it and quite enjoyed smelling like an after dinner mint (minus the chocolatey bit). I love that this scrub is gritty and it made my skin feeling oh so smooth and lovely.
Wotnot Facial Wipes
This is another one of those products that have popped up in quite a number of my Empties posts. I guess that's a testament of how much I love these wipes. Would repurchase. :)
That's it for June's empties. What have you emptied recently?
