My Dry Skin Saviours (Part II) - LUSH Massage Bars

L-R: Tender is the Night; Yes Yes Yes

In the second instalment of "My Dry Skin Saviours", I am sharing my current favourite body moisturizer. I'm going to be honest here and admit that I can be quite lazy when it comes to moisturizing my skin. As a result, I am faced with dry, itchy skin, especially since I have to shower in fairly hot water in winter (which dries out my skin even more than normal).

It's only one month into winter, and I'm pretty pleased with myself for moisturizing my skin regularly (ish) with Lush's new massage bars. I have two to share today - Tender is the Night and Yes Yes Yes.

Tender is the Night (RRP: $14.95) is a specially blended shea and murumuru butter, and also contains Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute. You have to warm this massage bar prior to use. As it's been pretty cold, I have been blasting the massage bar with my hairdryer for about 10 seconds to warm it up before effortlessly gliding it onto my skin and massaging it in. It can also be warmed up in your hands. Tender is the Night provides ample hydration and moisture for my skin without leaving my skin feeling too greasy (however skin will feel greasy if too much is used). Furthermore, it has a long lasting smell, which is an amazing concoction of vanilla, ylang ylang and jasmine.

In comparison, Yes Yes Yes (RRP: $13.95) is more jasmine fragranced. Personally, I think the jasmine scent in Yes Yes Yes is too strong, and I'm not the biggest fan. However, conditioning wise, it is on par with Tender is the Night.

Have you tried Lush's massage bars? Which is your favourite?
