Review: Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment

Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment is an organic, vegan friendly hair treatment that claims to repair, moisturise and strengthen your hair and scalp. Hair&Me also claims to cut blow-drying time by 30-50%, as the hair treatment is an oil based product that pushes out trapped water from the cuticle.

Hair&Me is a pre-shampoo treatment that is recommend to be applied on damp hair at least 30 minutes prior to your shower. I was told that the reason for applying this treatment on damp hair is to aid in an easier and smoother application process, and also to help prevent over application. As I found it too cold to dampen my hair in winter, I gave it a go applying it on dry hair and didn't really notice any difference in the application process.

Hair&Me also recommends putting this treatment in the fridge, so the product has a more solid consistency for an easier application. However, since it's winter and it's been quite cold, I didn't find this necessary. This treatment has the consistency of coconut oil, and it also smells like coconut oil. When I first used this (without having done much research), I thought to myself what's the point in purchasing this Hair&Me treatment for $19.95, as it's so much cheaper to get a bottle of coconut oil? Upon further research, I found out that the Hair&Me rejuvenation treatment contains other oils besides extra virgin coconut oil - jojoba oil, macadamia virgin oil and sweet almond oil.

Furthermore, it is packaged in a travel friendly pouch with a screw top opening. It's a lot easier (and lighter) carrying one of these pouches than a bottle of coconut oil when travelling.

I really like how soft my hair feels after using this treatment. After bleaching my hair to death, it certainly needs as much TLC as possible, and Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment does the trick in putting a bit more life and love into my dry, damaged locks.

The only claim that I haven't found to be true is one I mentioned earlier in this post, where this treatment cuts down blow drying time. I actually applied this treatment on half of my hair once, and after washing it off and conditioning, I used the blow dryer on each side for 5 minutes. There was no noticeable difference - i.e. both sides looked and felt equally as damp.

Hair&Me hair rejuvenation treatment costs $19.95 per packet with free postage anywhere in the world, and can be purchased here. With my fairly long hair, I am able to get 3-4 uses out of one packet. I personally love this treatment, considering I have purchased three of these (and one was given to me by Hair&Me for review purposes).
