Review: Too Faced Love Flush Blush

These Love Flush blushes are the latest release by Too Faced. I confess that I was sold as soon as I saw packaging. I may or may not have been sitting in front of my computer yelling "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY" when I learnt about this release.

L-R: Love Hangover; How Deep Is Your Love
The Love Flush blushes are housed in a cute love heart shaped plastic compact, with a handy love heart shaped mirror on the inside. I also adore the imprint/design of the blushes, with the pair of rabbits. Rabbits and love hearts, the only thing missing is unicorns barfing confetti and farting rainbows.

I currently have two shades to share and review, and will definitely be adding to my collection very shortly (my sister in Singapore has purchased a shade for me, and I'm also getting the Too Faced Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks holiday gift set - see below).

Ain't she gorgeous?! I'm so excited, it's like Christmas has come early!!!

L-R: Love Hangover; How Deep Is Your Love
Anyway, the two shades I currently have in my possession are Love Hangover and How Deep Is Your Love. Love Hangover is a warm light-medium pink with a slight golden sheen, whilst How Deep Is Your Love is a brighter coral pink. Both colours are absolutely gorgeous swatched, however, How Deep Is Your Love looks a touch better on my skintone than Love Hangover (see below).

I have no qualms about the pigmentation of these blushes. They are pigmented enough that the blush transfers onto your brush easily without having to go back a gazillion times. However, they're not super pigmented enough for those with a heavy hand to worry.

I love that these blushes aren't too powdery, as I absolutely detest pressed powder formulas (both blushes and eyeshadows) where you swirl your brush over and a heap of powder comes loose.

I haven't tested the 16 hour long wearing claim, as I rarely keep my makeup on for that long. On average, my tolerance for makeup on my face is about 10 hours, and my cheeks still looked nice and flushed at the end of my makeup day (if not a little faded).

These blushes have quickly become one of my favourite blushes, and I would highly recommend them.
