OPI is one of my favourite nail brands, and I absolutely love the collections (and names) that get released every so often. They have just released the Venice collection, which comprises of 12 shades. All of which will be part of the permanent collection.
I was lucky enough to be sent the mini 4-pack, which comprises of the shades A Great Opera-tunity, Worth A Pretty Penne, Amore At The Grand Canal, and My Gondola Or Yours? I think mini packs are a fantastic way to trial shades to find the ones that you love. Also, I rarely finish a full-sized bottle of polish, so it just seems to make sense purchasing mini packs.
Onto the swatches (please excuse the cuticles and mess, I was trying to get these swatches done before the sun set)...
A Great Opera-tunity is described as a "melon" shade. I would describe it as a gorgeous a coraly pink shade. The swatch above is two coats over acrylics, and is desperately in need of a top coat. Come to think of it, all these swatches definitely need a top coat.
Worth A Pretty Penne is described as a "shimmery copper", which I agree with. It's rose-tinted coppery goodness is the reason why this is my favourite shade of the four! The swatch above is two coats over acrylics.
Amore At The Grand Canal is a "ravishing red". It's a classic blue/cool toned creme red that would be perfect for any season. Two coats were used in the swatch above.
