Empties: November 2015

The countdown is on! Less than a month till Christmas, and I really need to get started on Christmas shopping. Does anyone want to see a gift guide?

Getting back on track, I didn't really finish many products this month. I blame it on my holiday, as I took minis with me (didn't finish many of those - holiday was clearly too short).

Trichovedic Blonde Toning Deep Therapy Masque
This is a fantastic purple masque for blondies! It really helps keep brassiness at bay and is quite moisturizing. It has a lavender smell, which I don't mind. This is a salon product, but I think it's quite affordable at $25 a tub. It has lasted me about 3 months - I use this every other time, which ends up being once a week (I wash my hair once every 3-4 days). I highly recommend this to fellow bleached blondes!

Enbacci Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essence & Gel Cleanser
I received these travel sized essence and gel cleanser at a blogger event held early last month. I don't really know how I feel about these products, as I didn't really notice much of a difference to my skin (although that might be due to the sample size).

I used the essence as a toner - spraying it on my face after cleansing. As mentioned before, I didn't really notice much difference in my skin. The gel cleanser didn't make my skin feel tight and it didn't break me out (it also didn't help with existing break outs). Not too sure if I would purchase these, aswthey are quite expensive and I didn't see any results.

Clarisonic Brush Head
I thought I would include my Clarisonic brush head as a reminder to change your brush head if you haven't already in a while (and also to track when I last changed my brush head).

Swisspers Rosehip Rejuvenating Facial Cleansing Wipes
Whilst I do appreciate that these wipes leave no greasy residue, I didn't really care for them, as these wipes don't really remove stubborn makeup (e.g. waterproof mascara/eyeliner). They were also on the drier side. I would not repurchase.

Neutrogena Make-up Cleansing Towelettes
These wipes were fairly good. They removed about 80% of my eye makeup, and I didn't notice that it left any yucky residue on my face (although this might be due to my using these wipes right before a shower during my holidays). I might consider repurchasing (have purchased a heap of HG biore removers from Singapore, so don't need any for a while).

spa Cleansing Eye Make-up Remover Pads
These eye makeup remover pads are rubbish. They do not remove stubborn eye makeup, and I had to resort saturating these pads with a proper eye makeup remover to make them work. Do not recommend at all.

Needed to do a mascara clear out, and these are due to be thrown out (along with half my drawer, if I'm being honest).

Benefit I'm Real Mascara
I remember using this during my holiday in March 2015. This definitely needs to go, despite how much I love this mascara. It's a really good defining mascara that volumises without clumping. I think this is due to the bristles on the brush. Love, love, love!

Dior DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum
This is my favourite lash primer. It lengthens and volumises my lashes, making them look even fuller than when using a mascara alone. Love it and would repurchase.

Etude House Oh m'Eye Lash Primer
This is a pretty good lash primer, but it isn't as good as Dior's. Lashes do look fuller but not as much as Dior. Might repurchase.

Maybelline the Colossal Volum' Express
I normally love Maybelline mascaras, but I wasn't all that impressed with this one. I found the formula too wet, and it weighed down what little lash curl I have. I also found the brush too big for my lashes - the curve and size just didn't fit my eye shape, and I found it quite challenging to use this properly. I wouldn't repurchase.

That's it for November's empties. Hoping I'll finish more products next month to end the year on a high note! What have you emptied lately?
