It's nearly the end of February, and have decided to dig out all my empties for this month to do this post. I struggle to finish hair care products since only washing my hair every 3-4 days, so I was quite surprised to pull out 5 hair care products from my box of empties!
Fudge Clean Blonde Conditioner
I've heard many great reviews on this Fudge conditioner, however, I thought it was quite average. The conditioner is a pale pastel purple, so it really doesn't help much with neutralising blonde hair. I much prefer Natural Look Silver Screen for this. Comparing the two, I think Fudge is slightly more moisturising but I would pick Natural Look over Fudge for its better neutralising properties.
Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Shampoo
The Marc Anthony shampoo is fairly hydrating (for a shampoo - I have yet to find a shampoo that is truly hydrating, but then again, that's what treatments and conditioners are for) and lathers beautifully. It doesn't irritate my scalp and makes my hair feel nice and clean.
Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo
This shampoo is amazeballs. It's extremely purple and does a brilliant job at keeping brassiness away. It is recommended to use this once a week, but I use it everytime I wash my hair (which equates to twice a week). This shampoo is comparable to Natural Look Silver Screen, which I love. I would repurchase again.
Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser
I really like this gel cleanser by Kiehl's mainly because it is so refreshing (it has menthol in it). It does dry out the skin a little though, so would obviously not be the best cleanser for dry skin. I would consider repurchasing.
Shiseido Ma Cherie Moisture Treatment
I really like that you don't have to leave this treatment in your hair for long before rinsing it out - instructions say that you can rinse it out immediately, but I like to leave it on for at least 5 minutes. It works fairly well at keeping your hair soft and moisturised, although the Marc Anthony treatment is far better (see below).
Marc Anthony Repairing Macadamia Oil Deep Rescue Conditioning Treatment
I've reviewed this treatment before (here, here and here), so I won't ramble on about it. But if you have dry hair, you need to try this conditioning treatment because it is amazing! I have a heap of backups and will keep on repurchasing.
Biore Makeup Remover Wipes
These wipes are amazeballs. They are pretty tiny though - each sheet is approx half the size of a normal wipe. However, they're absolutely amazing at removing stubborn makeup and they're also moist and gentle on the skin. I wish these were available in Australia (these were bought in Singapore).
spa Cleansing Eye Make-Up Remover Pads
I've also reviewed these eye makeup remover pads before, and I'm not a fan. I have had to pour more eye makeup remover on these pads for it to remove my waterproof mascara and eyeliner properly without ripping off my lashes.
