Review: Frank Body Skin Care

I've been using the Frank Body Skin Care range for a while now and thought it was time to write a review! The Frank Body skin care range consists of three main products - a cleanser, scrub and moisturizer. They are made to be suitable for all skin types, however, I'm only able to comment on how these products have worked on my oily/combination skin.

Frank Body Creamy Face Scrub
Creamy Face Scrub - $19.95
I really enjoyed using this scrub. I love my scrubs to be gritty, and this definitely ticks the box, as you may be able to tell from the picture above. It also leaves my skin feeling so incredible soft. It has a coffee scent (which is evident in most of Frank Body's products, as coffee is one of their main ingredients across their range). I'm not the biggest fan of coffee, but this was tolerable.

There are two things that I didn't like about this product. One of which was having to leave it on for 3 minutes after application. I normally leave exfoliating last in my shower routine, and had to change things up in order to accomodate the 3 minute leave on time. This is obviously a trivial matter, and is not a deal breaker for me. The other thing I'm not a fan of is the packaging. Whilst I like the tube, I hate having to unscrew the cap, squeeze out an adequate amount on one palm, and attempt to re-screw the cap back on without losing the scrub that's on my palm. Although this is quite annoying, I think the results of this product is worth it.

I would highly recommend this scrub (except perhaps those with sensitive skin, as this scrub might be too gritty/harsh).

Frank Body Creamy Face Cleanser
Creamy Face Cleanser - $19.95
I've actually reviewed this cleanser back in October 2015 (read here), and I can't believe how long this same bottle has lasted! I use this either in the morning or evening, and I really do enjoy using this cleanser.

It has a pull-out cap with a pump (perfect packaging for a cleanser, in my opinion). I normally use 2-3 pumps worth of cleanser each time. It doesn't really lather all that well, but it still is extremely effective in removing any dirt and leftover makeup from your skin. It doesn't dry my skin out, and hence no tight feeling after cleansing. This is fantastic for my skin since I have dehydrated oily skin. It's a bit hard describing the scent of this cleanser. Despite having coffee in it, it doesn't have Frank Body's signature coffee scent.

Frank Body Everyday Face Moisturiser
Everyday Face Moisturiser - $21.95
I've been using this everyday face moisturiser during the day for the past few months now. It's a lightweight moisturiser that is perfect for the warmer weather. It absorbs quite quickly, and leaves my skin adequately hydrated. It has the signature Frank Body's coffee scent, but it doesn't linger - it disappears as soon as you slather some primer and makeup on your face.

This moisturizer is packaged in the same tube-like packaging with a screw-on cap as the scrub mentioned earlier. Not the biggest fan of screw-on caps, but thankfully the product works well enough for me to overlook this.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the Frank Body skin care range. All of these products have lasted me over 3 months with continuous usage, and I still have plenty of product left. They also really work for my oily-combination skin. You can purchase all three products in a bundle (called Sweet Cheeks) for $49.95, which I think is extremely affordable (especially considering how long these products last).
