Empties: June 2016

I have a box full of empties to share, and some products were quite disappointing.

Matrix Moisture Hydration Shampoo
This did not add any hydration/moisture to my hair at all. I was extremely disappointed and was cheering when I finally finished this. It sat in my shower shelf for the longest time because I did not want to use it, and I ended up using copious amounts at a time just to get through it.

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo
This was a decent purple shampoo, although not as good as Natural Look Silver Screen. Whilst Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes is quite a pigmented purple shampoo, it's not as strong as Natural Look. Natural Look has turned bits of my hair purple, which I actually don't mind, since it kept the rest of my hair the ashiest blonde. I probably wouldn't repurchase Lee Stafford again, only because I prefer a stronger purple shampoo.

Fudge Make-A-Mends Conditioner
A fairly average conditioner. It wasn't moisturizing enough for my hair type (which is extremely dry/chemically damaged), so I had to mix it up with hair masques to make it work. As such, I wouldn't repurchase.

Biore Makeup Removing Wipes
This has been featured in numerous empties posts. This is the bomb diggity. I just wish it was available in Australia (purchased in Singapore). It's everything you want in a makeup removing wipe. This is holy grail stuff.

Rosehip Plus Rosehip Oil
So devastated that I've finished this bottle of rosehip oil. This stuff is amazing at keeping your skin hydrated without making it oily, making it perfect for dehydrated, oily skin. It's also a miracle worker when it comes to healing imperfections/scars. I'm guilty of popping pimples, and this stuff makes my "battle wounds" heal so quickly with minimal to no scarring. I just wish this was more easily available at brick and mortar stores (e.g. Priceline).

Boscia Charcoal Deep-pore Cleansing Stick Treatment
This is an innovative (packaging wise) cleanser. It's literally a stick that you smear all over your face, and then massage in. I found it easy to use until the end, when there's about 15% left. In the cylinder, there's a base, which pushes up the product when you turn the base. Unfortunately, said base is not solid. It has holes in it like a sieve, and product just melts and falls in the cylinder, making it a nightmare trying to actually use up the rest. I've tried popping it in the fridge before use to solidify the product, but it was useless. I wouldn't purchase this again. It was so not worth it.

Etude House Nail Remover
This is another product that have been featured in many empties post. I'm actually getting a bit nervous and antsy, as I've only got 2-3 bottles left! Will need to stock up soon. Best nail polish remover EVER.

Bath & Body Works Suncrisp Apple Harvest Shower Gel
B&BW makes the best smelling shower gels and hand soaps. This apple scented shower gel was not a disappointment. It smelt amazing! I need MOAR!

Frank Body Everyday Face Moisturiser
This tube of face moisturiser lasted me freaking forever. It's a lightweight moisturiser that is perfect for oily skin, as it sinks into the skin quickly without leaving any greasy residue. However, I don't think it has enough punch for dry skin.

Purasonic/PuraBeaute Brush Heads
This is a cheaper alternative to the Clarisonic. I have reviewed this a couple of months ago (read here), and I'm so disappointed that BOTH brush heads are stuffed already. I've tried to push them in, so it fits flush but it just doesn't work. I also noticed that if you select a faster speed on the device, it does not remember the next time you use it, unlike the Clarisonic. I don't know what I'm going to do with this device, as I probably would not use it ever again.

Chanel Eclat Lumiere
I used this as an undereye brightener. It has a brush end with a twisty base, which you turn to release product into the brush. I found this to be annoying at times, especially when you twist one too many times and a heap of product pools up into the brush. I also wasn't a fan of the brush head, as it's a bit unhygienic, since you can't exactly wash it. However, the product/formula was decent. I probably wouldn't repurchase though.

That's it for June's empties! What have you emptied lately?
