Empties: #1 2017

My first empties post since I've been back! This is also my first empties post of 2017. I seem to have used a heap of skincare products over the past few months.

Review: Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara

Rimmel has released a new mascara call the "Volume Shake" mascara. The whole idea behind this mascara is the ability to refresh your mascara (i.e. make it more creamy/wet) by shaking it. It's a world's first patented shaking system. Rimmel also spent a long time (try 10 years!) researching to master the water-gel formula, which is made from a unique combination of water and waxes for supposedly smooth, zero-clump, smudge free mascara.

Review: Frank Body Shimmer Scrub

Frank Body released their latest shimmer scrub not too long ago. In case you haven't heard of Frank Body, they are famous for their coffee based scrubs and playful descriptions and social media posts.

The newly released shimmer scrub promises to make you look "shimmery AF" for days you "feel like a unicorn". It is a limited edition scrub - it is currently sold out on their website, but you can still purchase from Mecca for $22.

Review: Rimmel Brow This Way 3-in-1 Ultra Soft Powder

Rimmel Brow This Way 3-in-1 Ultra Soft Powder is one of Rimmel's new releases. This product is also known as the Brow Shake Filling Powder. It's a rather unusual brow product - being that it is a loose powder, and you have to shake the tube (whilst closed for obvious reasons) to get product on the applicator. There are four shades available - Blonde, Medium Brown, Dark Brown & Black.

I picked the Dark Brown shade, and I am regretting it.

Sephora Australia Haul - Part 2

My online order from the Sephora Gold & Black Card Member sale arrived about a week ago! So I thought I'd do a quick blog post on what I've bought.

Review: Divine Company - Body Scrub & Naturally Bronze Gradual Tan

I am annoyingly allergic to most self tanners. I have tried countless self tanners only to break out in a rash mainly on my thighs and arms that lasts about 3-4 days. I have also tried a couple of professionally spray tans to no avail. I'm always on the hunt for a self tanner that my skin likes because skin cancer sounds fair too painful. To date, I've only found one that my skin semi-likes - a gradual tanner by St Tropez. I did break out in a rash with St Tropez, although not as severe and as long lasting.

So when Divine Company contacted me to trial and review their body scrub and gradual tanner, I jumped at the opportunity.

Sephora Australia Haul - Part 1

I am here to confess my sins. I have not only taken advantage of the Sephora Gold & Black member card 20% storewide sale twice in store, but also made an online order! In my defence, there are some things you can only get online and some you can only get in store.
