Review: Dermalogica Nightly Lip Treatment

Dermalogica has released a new nightly lip treatment that promises to smooth away laugh and feather lines whilst I do what I do best - sleep! It's anti-ageing formula helps to firm, hydrate and restore skin on and around the lips, and improves skin elasticity.
The key ingredients that make this nightly lip treatment amazing are:
  1.  the Apple fruit and glycerin complex, which helps enhance skin hydration and smooth lips
  2. Indian Gentian Extract, which helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  3. Sesame Seed Extract, which restores skin volume and reduces the appearance of fine lines in the upper lip area
  4. Shea Butter, which increases hydration and improves skin elasticity while restoring barrier function against visible signs of ageing
  5. Volumising technology (so mysterious) which helps to volumise lips and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
I like to think I'm fairly young at 26ish, and don't really have issues with wrinkles/laugh/feather lines. However, I do suffer from dry, flakey lips, especially in winter. So I was super keen to trial this out to see how it works on me.

The first thing I absolutely love about this nightly lip treatment is the cooling metal applicator. It makes application so easy and mess free. It also feels so nice on the lips/skin.
The formula itself is interesting. It doesn't really taste like anything to me, and absorbs fairly quickly on the lips/skin. It does not feel greasy at all. Just moisturised, which is what I was hoping.
As mentioned earlier, I do normally get dry, chapped lips in winter. But since using this, I have lovely smooth, moisturised lips!
It is quite pricey at $75.00 for 10ml. However, a little goes a long way.
The Dermalogica Nightly Lip Treatment is now available for purchase at authorised Dermalogica skin centres around Australia, David Jones, Mecca Maxima and Dermalogica's online store.
