Empties: August 2017

Time for another empties post! I've been using some of these products for the longest time, and I feel like I've accomplished something significant by finishing these products.

Divine Company Body Scrub
I did a review of this body scrub a couple of months ago (read here). I love the lemony/citrusy scent, but wish it was a bit more gritty.
Repurchase? Probably not.

Elements Chi Bioactiv Aromatherapy Revitalising Tonic
This toner took me FOREVER to finish, so I suppose it's good value for money (although this was provided to me in a blogger's event goodie bag). I thought it was an OK product, nothing to write home about.
Repurchase? No.

EcoTools Makeup Brush Shampoo
This makeup brush shampoo by EcoTools is also an OK product. It's definitely not the best brush shampoo I've tried, but it smells pleasant. It does not compare to Daiso's famous puff & sponge cleaner (I find it takes twice as much effort to remove makeup from my brushes compared to Daiso's). It's also more expensive than Daiso's.
Repurchase? No.

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer
I used to absolutely love this primer, hence the jumbo size purchased. However, I decided to try new primers midway through using this and it sat in my drawer forgotten (this explains why it looks so grubby). I found this again not too long ago and have finally finished this tube. I think there are other (more affordable - read The Ordinary) primers out there that are better suited to my skin type.
Repurchase? Probably not

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads
This is a travel/sample sized product and had only 5 pads in it. It felt quite heavy on my skin, and I didn't see any difference in my skin (not that I expected to see much with 5 pads). In my opinion, though this is very travel friendly, I think there are better glycolic products out there.
Repurchase? No

Gatsby Powered Oil Clean Paper
This oil blotting sheets are the best I've ever tried. I've raved about this in many empties post, and I will continue to do so because every oily skin person needs to try this life changing blotting sheets.
Repurchase? Yes... Forever.

That's it for my empties post. I have a feeling I will have another one up shortly.
