Empties: September 2017

I've got a box full of empties that needs to be shared! Here goes part one of my September empties.

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion
Oh. My. Word. Where do I even begin?! This body lotion is simply amazing. It smells like lavender, which I find really relaxing and soothing. Perfect for night time use. It moisturizes really well - I did not get the dreadful winter itch when I used this. It sinks into your skin fairly quickly, without any greasy residue. I am so glad this is still available online and in selected stores, because it has become one of my favourite body lotions.

L'Oreal EverPure 6-in-1 Cleansing Balm for Coloured Hair
My sister from Singapore bought me a bottle before she came over for a visit earlier this year. This is a 6-in-1 Cleansing Balm, so it's meant to clean, condition, detangle, treat, soften and shine.. i.e. an all in one product. I found I still needed to use a clarifying shampoo with this. However, I used this as a conditioner for my roots to mid ends. This had menthol in it, so it also left my scalp feeling so clean and fresh. Absolutely love this cleansing balm and wish it was available to purchase in Australia!
Repurchase? I wish :(

Christophe Robin Regenerating Shampoo with Prickly Pear Oil
This is a travel sized shampoo that I half used in a prior trip. I thought I'd finish it off rather than accumulate a heap of half empty shampoo bottles. I love the smell of Christophe Robin products, and this is no exception. It lathers on the second wash well, and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. It has a bit of a detangling quality to it too, which is great. Only con is that it is on the pricier side ($47 for 250ml)
Repurchase? Would consider.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
Niacinamide is meant to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and congestion. I find that it does help but does not prevent blemishes from rearing their ugly head. At $9.90 a bottle, I do think it's worth incorporating into your skincare routine if you are acne prone.

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA
This is meant to reduce the appearance of spots and hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference in my skin. I finished this bottle of Alpha Arbutin quite a few weeks ago, and my skin doesn't seem to have missed it. As such, I haven't bothered replacing it.
Repurchase? Probably not.

Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation in Shade 28 Bisque Taupe
I reviewed this foundation last year, and it still remains the most full cover foundation I've had the pleasure of using (read here for the review). I don't think it made me look cakey because you only need the tiniest amount and it's not a thick foundation. Oil control could be better but it's still a great foundation and I would recommend if you're after a high coverage foundation.
Repurchase? I still have a bottle in shade 26 Bisque Medium.

Keeping it to 6 empties per post means this post has come to an end! Have you tried any of these products?
